The Holocaust Pt1 Anne Frank

We have just taken 12 days to travel around Europe looking at the scenes of the holocaust , a very emotional and educational journey that has made huge impression on us no matter how many books or documentaries you watch you do not realise the immense scale of this awful part of history until you visit these places. Day one we visited Amsterdam and the home of Anne Frank an amazing place to visit but be aware we got there early and queued for 3 hours to get in .It was well worth the wait sadly you are not allowed to take photographs inside (though some did ) so just some tourist type photos for this day . Anne's well known story is brought to life as you walk through her famous hiding place the building contains thousands of photographs and documents as well as original furniture .
